NOTE #1:
Press and hold A plus another button to start, release the other button when you have reached a certain level of speed.
WOOOW...! - FORGET ABOUT F-ZERO X 2500km/h!!!
Quite cool for crash-mode!! Train to release the button just before crashing and you will be rewarded with flying trucks and busses (amazing with the "Runaway"-cheat on)!!
Might crash in multiplayer and can cause extreme slow downs when releasing the other button to early.
However, you still can return to the main menu - just hold "start" for a few seconds and the pause-menu will appear, having also extreme slowdowns. Just hold the controlstick down, untill it finally reaches the 'quit'-option, then hold A for a few seconds.
NOTE #2:
This code is based on Codejunkies´ "super acceleration" and does not affect the "hyper acceleration". In fact, I just removed the joker command, which causes the game not to abort the replay. (You could have the same effect with the original code, but you would have to release the control stick and every button exept A for the wohle race, which wouldn´t make much sence.
____________________________________
The "Hyper acceleration"-code is based on codejunkies.com's "Super Acceleration"-code and was achieved through the simple
modification of a value - to a time when nothing else was possible on GCN. It even was probably the first inofficial european code ever ... orrrrrrrrrrrr... maybe not. I have no clue. Who cares. I said "probably"!
I never have done simple valuemodification on N64/GBA/GBC-codes. I'm looking foreward for an improvement of my GCN-hacking-skills ...some day in the future (because if it was in the past it would already have happend, duh.)
However, "Super Acceleration" was supposed to be used for racing mode, whereas "Hyper acceleration" is meant for crash-mode.
The reason why this is so is quite obvious - using "Hyper acceleration" on racing-tracks will easily throw you off the track or when there are any CPU-enemies, the game simply will crash.
However, I can truly say that I'm the one who made the busses fly - that's neither possible in the unmodified game, nor with "Super Acceleration".
